Hotel is very nice, relaxed atmosphere, small enough that you don't feel crowded with a fantastic view over to Vesuvius. Staff are extremely friendly and polite. The marina is lovely with restaurants all along the waters edge, but manages not to feel "tourist-y".
Only downside is there is quite a walk uphill to get into Sorrento centre which would be a challenge for anyone with mobility issues.

This was a small hotel in a beautiful, tucked away position on the quieter part of Sorrento - the Marina Grande. It had amazing sea views across the bay of Naples to Vesuvius and a lovely restaurant (breakfast only) with terrace overlooking the sea. Our room had a balcony (four all together - just a thin wire fence between them so no privacy) overlooking the sea which was excellent. It had a small unheated pool which didn't catch a lot of sunlight so was a bit cold for me. Our room didn't have air conditioning.
